Silk fabric is a beautiful material for use in fashion, quilts and mixed media projects. Dyeing silk can involve dyes, chemicals and a long batching process, however this class will use another way to color your silk using paint. By using paint there are no harsh chemicals needed, and the fabric will still have a soft hand when finished. You will leave class with a finished product! Your scarf or fabric will be ready to use immediately.

Create a Habotai silk scarf, or paint silk organza to use in the Bojagi Fusion class, or both, if desired.

Materials Fee $20 payable to instructor at beginning of class Includes:
all materials needed for class:
Habotai Silk Scarf OR one yard of Silk Organza
Use of Paints, Foam Brushes, Paint cups, Rubber bands, Paper Towels and Rubber gloves.

Supplies Needed to bring to class
Please wear an apron or clothing you don’t mind getting paint on.

Additional scarves and fabric will be available for an additional fee.

Most of the required supplies for your classes can be pre-ordered from Collage. They will be ready and waiting for you to pick up when you arrive at the retreat. To order supplies, contact Maria Ralaigh
