Time to put on your Collage Hat and get STICKY!! The Paper Landscape is my fancy name for an abstract landscape collage made from papers, many of which are created by you, the artist. We will make a variety of textured papers to use in our landscape paintings. These could be Tyvek, marbled paper, multi-layer monoprints, textured paper, embossed foils, and more.
Using the papers we have made, let me show you how my "sandwich technique" makes composition so easy. You will be amazed at how quickly a painting with beautiful colors and textures can come together with spectacular results.
Materials Fee  $15 paid at beginning of class includes:
Red rosin paper, butcher paper, deli paper, patterned papers, metallic
papers, other specialty papers
Golden metallic paints
Texture compounds
Use of stencils, embossing folders
