Immortalize your pet in art. Use torn and cut maps and magazine pages to create striking, realistic portraits of your favorite pet. Discover how to use recycled paper as if it is paint to create a unique work of art and capture the spirit of your pet. You will be guided through the technical challenge of making realistic renderings from recycled materials, and produce one or two frame- ready works of art. No drawing skill necessary. All materials provided but bring pictures of your pet. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, goats, or ?

Supplies that students are responsible for bringing:
Color photocopy of an appealing pet, with focus on the face. 8 x 10 is perfect. Your picture will not be damaged.
Papers that appeal to you, including old maps, music, Gelli prints.
Magazines to tear up.
Your favorite scissors.
All other materials will be provided, including reference photos of dogs and cats. You can just walk in and create.

Supplies needed: NONE -- All materials provided!
