Some Bookbinding and sewing experience helpful
Inspired by this quote, we have created a journal that celebrates the Wanderer.
Tuck it into your knapsack for that next adventure to Morocco, Australia or your favorite neighborhood coffee house.
You will begin by layering fabric, gelatin-printed and painted papers and stitching on them to create a wrap-around cover. Inside there are pockets to hold pencils, pens, paper, maps and treasures you collect along the way.
We will paint papers of all kinds; both opaque and transparent, using acrylics, gelatin plates, maps and stencils. Each of the four signatures has its own machine-stitched fabric wrap with laces, ribbons, pockets and more. There are blank watercolor paper pages to chronicle your explorations.
