Because everything looks better with a bird on it! In this lively mixed media workshop, you’ll learn how to work on the unique substrate, cradled Claybord by Amsterdam—a beautifully smooth surface that invites scratching and etching, layering, and luminous color effects. Using etching tools (provided), acrylics, collage, and mark-making, you’ll build a richly textured avian composition that balances whimsy and sophistication. Explore color, negative space, and surface techniques, then finish with a soft acrylic glaze that brings the texture alive. Playful, tactile, and full of discovery.
