Imagine one journal that holds it all—your to-do lists, morning pages, wildest ideas, spontaneous sketches, grocery lists, paint swatches, and aha moments. In this full-day, hands-on workshop, we’ll create a beautiful, mega-sized creative hub designed to capture the full range of your life and imagination.

Morning Session: Build Your Everything Journal

We’ll begin by constructing a sturdy 11x14 mixed media journal using a modified pamphlet stitch with a custom strap binding. You'll learn how to fold, punch, and bind your pages with intention, creating a structure that’s equal parts durable and inspiring. We’ll also build in functional elements like an index, expandable pockets, and DIY tab dividers to organize your ideas with ease.

Afternoon Session: Make It Yours

Once our journals are built, we’ll dive into activating the pages with layers of playful mixed media. You’ll be guided through techniques to add visual interest and invitation to your blank pages—think background washes, collage clusters, and your first doodles or scribbled thoughts. This session is all about setting the tone for how your journal wants to serve you—whether it’s a sacred space, a daily planner, or a messy brainstorm book.

You’ll leave with a fully functional and beautifully personalized journal—ready to hold everything your creative life throws at it.
