Students are guided step by step to create a 9x12 mixed-media collage to display an empowering word or quote. Instructor will provide quotes, though students are welcome to bring their own printed in suggested 12 font or bigger on plain paper.
Students will be taught mixed-media collage techniques of layering between collage and acrylic paint with various methods of mixed-media to add interest. Words can be applied in a variety of ways including with printed quotes, rubber stamping or writing.
This is a great workshop to create a unique work of art that showcases a word or quote that is meaningful and empowering. Travels easily and is frameable once you get it home. This is a wildly popular workshop that often fills up.
