Are you ready to make some unique and interesting metal pieces without using adhesive or a soldering iron? Well, then you are in the right class here.
In this class students will explore many different techniques to add texture and color to metal. We will be mixing base metals in this class, copper, yellow brass, and nickel silver. We will be embossing, impressing, stamping, and metal etching. Students will also be shown how to use a metal disc cutter and dapping and doming block. Students will learn a great variety of cold connections to adhere some of their metal pieces together. Riveting, eyelet setting, wire wrapping, and micro screws will be demonstrated and taught.
I promise you will never look at bare metals the same after this class. Each student will leave with some unique art they will create themselves along with a ton of knowledge to take and experiment with.
