I always say that there as many ways to do art as there are hands that do it. I call my way “the gospel according to Dina.” I have some guidelines that I use to help me as I work. Some of the guidelines are composition principles, some are color theory, some are quirks. In this class, I will show you my gospels and we will do creative exercises that will help you learn and excel at each principle, as well as ignore them completely!

Your art journal
9x12 Watercolor or mixed media paper pad, student grade is fine (I like Cason XL). We need lots of paper to play on!
Acrylic gesso
Acrylic paints
Marking tools like Scribble Sticks, Stabilo All pencils, etc.
Spray bottle with water
Paint brushes
Wipes/paper towels/water container to wash brushes
Gel medium
Your favorite stencils.
Plain collage paper tissue or deli paper
