Have you ever wanted to paint with watercolors but were unsure how to get started? In this 2-day workshop, you will learn about the best watercolor supplies, how to apply paint to paper, different brush strokes, color mixing, and various watercolor techniques to create depth, colorful shadows, texture, and edge control.  You will learn my top 10 secrets for watercolor success, including how to keep your colors fresh and lively, understand the importance of shape building, and make correct color choices.  We will practice our newly acquired skills by painting some small paintings.  All your painted pages can be bound into your very own artist’s journal for future reference.  The watercolor paints, paper, and brushes I provide for your use are the best quality and are not student grade!  You deserve to play with the best!  No experience is necessary - just a desire to try new things and to have fun!
