Have you ever wondered what adhesive to use to attach two different surfaces or materials? There are a variety of great adhesives to create artwork along with many different types of fasteners. In the class, Patrick Armstrong will demonstrate how to attach and use different fasteners such as rivets, screws, nails, nuts and bolts. He will also demonstrate a variety of different adhesives to attach materials together. Adhesives, fasteners and other commonly available products will be combined to utilize their individual properties in combinations you may not have tried. Focus will be on artwork related applications, but instructor will address individual needs of the participants. Participants will create either a 2D or 3d work of art using some of the adhesives and fasteners. Participants are also encouraged to use this opportunity for problem solving on an existing project.
